Dye-vine Inspiration: The FO

You know how it is.... you try something new, it works out ok and this motivates you to keep on going. Well, I tried... I dyed... and dyed... and dyed... and dyed:- Seven skeins to be exact! Seven skeins of my charity shop blue and grey wool, and one ball of white Wendy Peter Pan 3ply.

I am really pleased with the overall results. I can't wait to knit with this wool now. Next time I plan to dip-dye the wool, but that's for another day. For now I am going to bask in my woolly glory!!!

Colour reference, left to right:
Skein 1: Grey wool mixed with claret colouring
Skein 2: As above
Skein 3: Peter Pan white mixed with 'melon' (yellow)
Skein 4: Beige wool mixed with 'melon'
Skein 5: Grey wool mixed with 'melon'
Skein 6: Beige wool mixed with green
Skein 7: Beige wool mixed with green & black

Thanks for the advice. Your blog looks great and so does your dyeing.
I must remember that it's meant to be fun no matter what colours I get.
