English Garden Bag - Update (not really!)

I am admitting defeat. I am in the frog pond, as we speak, flailing around and frogging what I have knit so far. I had to do it. If your heart's not in something you've got to do what's right. And so I am.

I am ripping back my work on the English Garden Bag as I am unhappy with the colours I chose for this project. I am resigned to the fact that I will have to simply use my lovely gorgeous deliciously beautiful Noro and Debbie Bliss Merino Aran for something else (he he he), and more wool will have to be purchased in order to make this bag (aw, how awful. Not!)

I'm sooo glad I had the courage to frog it. Sorry folks but looks like it will be a wee bit longer before I get this one made. Thankfully the recipient's birthday is not until Winter so I've got time yet.

Now, what to do with my Noro & Debbie Bliss....hmmm

As hard as frogging is, it is always for the best when not completely happy!!

What a shame that you have to do some more yarn shopping! Although have to agree with Sharon, its better to frog it that finish it and forever be unhappy with the end result.

It always takes me much longer to admit defeat--I guess I keep thinking the longer I look at it the more I'll like it, when the opposite seems always to be true! (Someday I'll learn) Enjoy your new yarn hunt!
