... just!I'm making a blankie for not-so-little Miss CB. I found a bunch of balls of Paton's Splash on sale in the LYS. This yarn is lovely and soft and light - a cotton/nylon blend with little threads and slubs woven in.
Miss CB chose 6 balls of the blues and 6 balls of the reds. At the moment I'm getting 2 squares from each ball working on size 10UK needles.
I've never made a blankie before and I'm facinated with how it's put together. I'm using the Brenda Blanket pattern by Berroco. The squares are mitred and each square is knit directly on to the previous one. Should be nice to snuggle up in when watching Saturday morning tv!
