Felting: Swirl Beads

I made these swirly felted beads following a tutorial posted on the Felting Forum. I have also seen them made into 'sushi' beads somewhere over on Craftster. I think they'll be perfect for bracelets or accessories.

Katie had a play with them, and made this pretty picture - I'm going to call it "Sun shine and a tree".

Oh how cool! Do you think they'd work as buttons?

Oooh Bernie I love them. Do you know, I'm knitting a baby hat but dont know what flavour said bubs will be. I want to put something on the hat but obviously not really a flower, wonder if this would work?

How cute they sort of look like candy, oh that may just be me :)

Kylie - they do have a kind of 'candy' essence about them. I imagine they would look like peppermint swirls if made in white and red..... :)
