Tapestry Crochet

Here's a picture of a little something I've been working on.

The technique is called Tapestry Crochet which is featured in the book Stitch 'n Bitch Crochet: Happy Hooker. I guess it's described as Intarsia for crochet.

The colourwork is best done on a square so an object that is crochet with double crochet stitches (or single crochet if you're in the US) works best.

Here's my first attempt. I plan on getting better!
