Grandmother Purl's Blanket - progress

Just thought I'd share a quick photo or two of the girls sewing up the squares received for Grandmother Purl's Blanket. In the photo below are Marissa, Kristy and Tami.

And just to prove what a saddo I am, I've been playing 'spot my square(s)'. Guess what, I found them.

The one above, that's mine! And the one below, that's mine too! (I'm really a terribly shy, modest person. Well most days anyway. Honest I am. Really.)

They both appear to have made it on to Grandmother Purl's Blanket. The remaining squares will be used to make more blankets, cushions and pillows for friends of Grandmother Purl.

If you want to check out more of the squares that people have sent in, then visit the Flickr Pool for KASFGMP. All the photos are public so hopefully you should be able to see them.

Edited to included Tami's comment: "Lori took the photo - for anyone who is wondering, left to right (in the top photo) you are looking at Marissa, Kristy, and me (Tami). Left to right in the bottom photo are Marissa and Kristy, sewing diligently".

Cool! Doesn't sewing up with a friend look like a lot more fun than doing it alone?

Hi Bernie! Actually, it looks like both of your squares made it into the blanket for CAP's grandma. All those squares laid out there are part of hers.

And Lori took the photo - for anyone who is wondering, left to right (in the top photo) you are looking at Marissa, Kristy, and me (Tami). Left to right in the bottom photo are Marissa and Kristy, sewing diligently!

And I love that pink and green square you did - just had to comment on that - it's beatiful!

Heh, I'm sad too, but I didn't make a really distinctive square like your pink and green one so I'm still not sure if that purplish one on the bottom is mine or not. *sigh*
